 Monday

So today while talking to my family, I expressed how I was a wee bit sad because I want to do festive things. Rebekah showed that her tree was already up and I was so jealous, especially since Christmas isn't big here at all. So this night I went to a place called the Thai store, and it has basically everything, it's jam packed and has 3 stories. The ceiling I think is only 7 feet tall and they have stuff hanging down from it as well😆so I was ducking the whole time. Also, it smelt like moth balls, which for those who don't know it keeps rodents and bugs away I guess, but it's definitely a strong smell hahaha. Anyway, I spent money to buy ingredients for pumpkin cookies and then went home and started mixing it all up. All I had though was a fork to mix it up with haha, no beaters or whisks. Anyway, then I was complaining to Momma because it cost like 25 bucks for things and I only get 200 a month for all of my food and while I was there I saw CHRISTMAS TREES but a little one was 9 dollars, so expensiveeee! So I complained again haha how it was so much and I didn't want to use my own money cause I don't wanna be broke when I get home, lol. So, as an early Christmas present, or out of the kindness of their heart, her and Dad gave me 40 dollars (which is so much here) to spend on Christmas festivities. Soooo

Tuesday

Shabang it's Tuesday and we had district council and also after all that we went to the Thai store again and I bought a tree, 40 meters of lights, a wreath, a Christmas sign and those fake pine needles on a string hahaha and I did my best decorating and I think my room looks amazing but see for yourself in the time-lapse below hehe. Super fun and I was so very happy, still am if you can't tell. Anyway I also had a bit more energy so I made another one, I even clapped a couple times and the lights went off as you can see. revealing the awesomeness. I slept so happily that night.

Wednesday

So we started the day off with serving ming palla again and that's the day we saw the snake and giant centipede, crazyyy. Then later that night I made pumpkin cookies which were so so good, I impressed myself. Hahaha I might add I had to puree the cooked pumpkin and mix all the ingredients with a fork cause that's all I had😆 Anyway super yummy. I was like super sick these days though, we still went out but I had like zero energy-it stunk so bad.

Thursday

Hahaha this day was the day we ran out of food in our apartment cause the Elders in charge of food didn't buy any on prep day so yeah I just ate the rest of my cookies for dinner that night.

Friday

We decided to just do food all by ourselves and let me tell you my food has been sooo goood. And there's left overs too so it makes it easier through out the day. We also finished ming Pallas house finallyyyyy

Saturday

I played with some kiddos and taught them the abc's and then taught English class and gave them all some pumpkin cookies! They all liked them except for one girl who couldn't help but gag😆but of course when I confronted her about it she was too embarrassed cause I called her out in front of the whole class-super funny but that's what she gets for not liking my cookies.

Sunday

We visited two grandparent aged Cambodians that haven't been going to church because they've been sick and because they were sour at the missionaries for not coming over the second we knew they were sick haha. But I felt effective because I was able to share a scripture about how trials in our life are there for our benefit. And when we endure to the end and trust God, great will be our reward in Heaven! And then they came to church later that day! I was so happy!!! And also I was gifted the opportunity to baptize! It was for one of the sisters' investigators and I was terrified. Her name was hard! The language is hard! But I was able to get through it and she felt the spirit so that's such a win! It was such an amazing experience and I love it so much! I'm so excited for our investigators that are getting so close to baptism!

Okay that's it for this week, sorry it's lateee
