 Well ladies and gentlemen, I am a dad, again, but this time with a white child and not a Khmer one haha. And this time I know Khmer and my child doesn't😆which is the usual for training haha. My first trainee was just Khmer so ofc he already knew the language. Anyway, so my son's name is Elder Adams and low key he's lit! He's super book smart and he knows the language super well already to be honest. He'll say words that like I just learned a couple months ago and I've been put here a whole year. But as usual he's having a really hard time understanding what they say. The classic "Elder, what language are they speaking?" 😆🤣 Anyway, it's fun, I love being a dad. Also, we have just been crazy busy! I finally baked the rest of my 13 pounds of pumpkin chocolate chip cookies last Monday so this whole week we spent lots of time giving them out to other people.  Hey guys, super quick just wanna say I love you!!!!   This week I was super busy but also not a ton happened, lol, other than service in a lotus field, which was epic! I wielded a sickle for 4 hours cutting them down. I also had exchanges which was a blast and probably some more things happened too but too busy today to write them. In the morning this P-day I made 6 kilos of pumpkin cookies so like 13ish pounds of cookie dough😆and then we made spaghetti tonight as well. Cause you know it's the last P-day of the transfer! All good things, all good things.  Also, problems include I got hit by a moto going really fast but don't worry y'alls prayers are working and all I got was a small scrape on my ankle. Also, my right foot is all swollen from some mystery bug bites. And my back was like so broken for two days following that service project cause I was bent over the whole time I was working.  Heyyooo family and friends!!! This weekly is gonna go day by day cause so much happened!!! Also, it's gonna go into detail about a Buddhist funeral so just be warned. This might be a shock or a tear jerker. There are also some funnies and haha's as well so don't fret it's not all gloom. MONDAY I'll just go ahead and recap because I can't remember how much I said last week. So, in the morning I got a phone call informing me that pu somnang's son passed away, which was super sad news. We went over to their house right away after buying some flowers for the mom and dad and stuffed animals for the two daughters whose ages are 9 and 11. When we went over there they had their son "dop" (boy's name) laying on the bed with cotton balls blocking his air ways and his favorite Spiderman shirt on with a blanket covering the lower half of his body.
