From Low to High
Hey guys super quick update for this week.
I am doing just awesome right now. I was in a little bit of a low once I was transferred out of Sinoukville but now I'm in a super high. I'm training an awesome trainee right now and we are super busy and miracles are happening. It's easy to fill our days up and both of us just want to work hard. . . and eat good food 😆
My days are packed full with lessons, service, and just preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ! We've also been running with one of our teaching friend every single morning, so I'm getting a lot of running in. We're trying to help him stop drinking beer so he can get baptized. And then maybe we can start teaching his wife too, that would just be awesome!! I really hope it is a help for him and he can be baptized. We have also been teaching a part-member family with a special needs daughter. We are really trying to work hard to help unite part-member families by loving people and serving them little by little.
There have been a lot of storms here lately. One day we were sitting in this ice cream shop after a service project, rejuvenating and doing some language study and then we saw this massive wind come and I was like "oh no" and when I looked up at the sky I saw big dark clouds so I was like "Elder, we need to go home and get out of our service clothes before it starts raining, because it's going to start raining soon." We didn't want to get soaked from the rain and also it's hard to ride our bikes in the rain. So we go and we were being chased by the storm, like the wind is pushing. We were still a bit ahead of it because that's just how fast we were riding but the wind was still behind us pushing us a bit. It felt like a mission impossible scene because the wind was behind us and it was pouring rain behind us but we weren't getting wet yet. It was super windy, but kind of in our favor and we were just biking super fast. We get to our hotel where our apartment is and we go up the elevator and by the time we get to our floor, which is the 4th floor, we look outside and it is completely pouring. It was pouring so hard! So like 3 minutes after we got to our apartment, it started pouring. I was like "oh yeah, we just totally raced the storm and won!" We beat the storm!
Anyways, we are having a great time and are super excited for this next week!
I love all of you. . . lots!!

Way to go storm runner! Only those who follow the spirit are so blessed. We are so thankful you followed your promptings. Question?? What did you do with the snake after you skinned it? It is good to hear that you have a companion who wants to work/play/and serve hard. Keep up the good work.
