A Different Kind of Halloween

Heyyooo everyone, hope y'all had an awesome Halloween!!! It's super interesting being on this side of the world for those type of holidays cause they hardly exist. . .so idk if its better or worse😆cause I don't get a ton of FOMO because I just forget about it😅but then I don't celebrate it a ton so it's just different I guess. They've got their own holidays and the one goin on right now is, um, "tuk." I don't know if I spelt that romanization right or not but basically it's like a "boys in the boat" holiday, haha. But with like 50+ people in one boat. If you want to see that you can go to my blog post from a year ago cause I was in Battambang and they do it on the river that we crossed every day so I got to see it which was super fun.

Anyway, this week was a blast other than me getting a cold again. But no worries, the work goes on haha. We did lots of service like always. Also this Wednesday is when we learn if we're going to be transferred or not and I'm super curious what's gonna happen!!! Cause there's no more areas to put missionaries but ten Elders are coming, soooo new areas whoop, whoop. Well I know my area is splitting but other than that it's a mystery.

Oooo also Friday I did have to do something for Halloween, so we bought some watermelons and carved those instead of pumpkins, which was fun. And we did it at a house that's across a cemetery which makes it even more spookier haha😄

Not a whole lot else for this week, pretty normal other than our baptism we had Sunday which was so amazing! So excited for him, his name is Sak. He's an awesome little buff 16 year old kid who loves running with us in the morning. It's really a fun time out here with all of our nek reans. We get to be so a part of their lives, which I feel is so unique. It does make the leaving hard though, that's for sure! Oooo we also got our suits today as well, which look super cool in my opinion.

But that's all I have for this week. I love y'all and just remember there's no such thing as "I'm too busy" or "I can't," those are mainly just cover ups for I don't want to or I don't believe I can. Take a true look into you life again and see what things you're not doing and change them so you can grow and become the person that you're meant to be. Which is a person who stands next to Christ ready to do His will.
