Keep the Prayers Coming!!
okay whhhats up my beautiful family and friends, I hope you are all doing so very well. This week was pretty busy with all kinds of stuff.
Monday
We played basketball, which was neat and we played well enough that a Chinese person wanted to have us play their team lol. Also, that night my comp, who is barely a week in went with another Elder who is barely two weeks in to go teach a lesson by themselves while the other ZL and STL's planned zone conference with me. We treated ourselves to some Little Caesar's pizza, which was super yummy as always. (my opinion, Little Caesar's is way better here than in the states). Anyway lit night cause we had 10 Elders in a two bedroom, one kitchen and three bathroom house. It was packed, haha.
Tuesday
Zone Conference was great, stressful but great. I enjoyed everyone's remarks and for myself I thought I could've done a lot better at tying thins together but afterwards a senior sister missionary told me I did such a wonderful job and she felt so great when listening to what I had to say. I'm really glad that the spirit is still making up for all of my silly mistakes and shortcomings because I know with out Him I'd just be an aimless rambler, haha. Anyway, us ZL's and STL's also had a surprise musical number because the missionary who was supposed to do it wasn't feeling up for it, so after a very large burrito and no practice, we sang. It turned out good, I think but you'll have to be the judge of that.
Wednesday
We did service in the morning but super sad because that family is having major issues right now and might get divorced, but we shall see. I'm really hoping they will be able to work it out. Anyway, so that really affected me because I have grown really close with them after serving in their lotus field every week for 5 months. The rest of the day was pretty regular too other than the fact that I did exchanges with the Elders from Sihanoukville (my old area). They did the exchanges here in Pochentong though (my current area) all around ok good day.
Thursday
Lowkey can't remember much, sorry y'all. I'm also low on time, like usual, so can't spend time trying to remind myself.
Actually, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday are all mushed together. Basically we are meeting a lot of new people since our area was recently split. It is fun to meet new people but I also miss teaching the 3 and 4 lessons. But it's all good because in a little bit we'll be teaching them to all our new people. Anyway super fun being in basically a new area and there is still so much to be explored and also just like contacted. So much work to be done here it's insane. So keep those prayers coming!
Sunday
The most stressy day there is lol, we picked up like 4 people from all different places which was cool. Then we had sacrament, which is always a release of stress unless the member right next to you yells a cuss word because she got startled from a loud noise a kid made, or the inevitable revolving door. Anyway the primary program was so adorable as primary programs go. We also had two people get baptized and one is this super awesome middle aged man who just seems very solid. He's in the Komboul group which is just about 10 kilometers from Pochentong. We just do their baptisms up here since they do't have a font yet. Anyway, Sunday was great and we had a member meal that night that was also very tasty!!!
Anyway, I'm out of time and I just want to tell all you guys that I love you and also keep pressing forward with a fulness of hope. Don't forget to read your scriptures as well my beautiful family and friends.
