Weekly Bombs

Heyyyyyoooooooo wassup y'all? This week was so weird and totally not normal. Monday we had a normal-ish p-day that ended with catching fish in the mud and looking at the stars in a harvested rice field, which was so unbelievably pretty. The stars were low key on the same level as a night in Washington. Which is saying a lot since it's hot and humid down here. Anyway, it was super lit but a bit crazy riding bikes back with only one light on my comps bike haha. Night vision was turned on! Tuesday So this day we had district council and then we did some quick service at Ming Naans house by spreading out unhusked rice on these mesh tarps so it can dry. We then dragged our feet through it to make it all level and even and to make sure the bottom was on the top and the top on the bottom so it all gets dry evenly. Anyway then we left and I showered and got all packed to go back to the city to have MLC (missionary leadership council). It's a 5 hour drive from Battambang to Phnom P...

Transfers

Well this week was transfer week and man, what a week! haha. I basically spent the first part of it just printing pictures and then visiting all the members and nek reans because I love them so much. Literally my second family there in Pochentong. The only difference is that they aren't sealed to me and I most likely will only ever see them once or twice more in my life. So, it is really heart breaking to be leaving that area! I also got moved to an area that has like so many rice fields so the first day I got here we just harvested rice the whole day, well from like 8:00-2:00. It was quite the blast to be honest. We held the bags for the big machine to put the rice in and then we sowed the 225 pound bags shut and then picked them up and put them in a Khmer tracker trailer! Later on we unloaded the bags too which was fun as well. Okay, anyway back to Pochentong for a second. The night before leaving they threw me a going away party on top of one of the member's roof-which was ...

Miracles are Happening!!

This week was quite the mix up!!! I went on a lot of exchanges with the DL's and with the AP's as well. So Tuesday I went to Kompong Spue, which is a place that just got opened up this transfer and we added a companionship there so there wasn't enough bikes so me and my temporary comp just walked, which was super lit to be honest. You can contact so many more people if you walk instead of bike. But let me tell you it was soooooo much slower getting to lessons, haha. I forgot how slow walking is for real! Anyway, that was so fun to be in their area. We talked to a lot of people that want to learn later on so I think that area is really progressing. Anyway then we came back to my area Wednesday afternoon and met some of our nek reans (teaching friends) that are on baptismal date. We got their forms all ready and everything so that was super lit. Also Thailand and Cambodia are at war again with each other and a lot of hate is spreading, so we be trying to help everyone out wi...
