Back in Thma Koul!!

Alrighty, this week was a busy one!

Monday we were still in Battambang and we went and played volleyball which was fun and then bought some shoes which was also fun. But not much else happened this day to be honest. Oh, except for eating at La Pizza, which was super good and yummy in our tummies.

Tuesday we had District Council there in Battambang and also mooched off of the other district's cake and cookies and goodies haha. Anyway, after D.C. we were able to go back to our area which is super nice. It's good to finally be back and preaching the gospel in our assigned area and helping the nek reans and members in Thma Koul.

Wednesday was super good too, we went to a far area and taught some people which was good as well. Lowkey here in this little village there's not a whole lot of nek reans,  but that's gonna change soon because we are going to do some amazing work here!!

Thursday we went to a different far area and taught some people there but mainly did service to be honest. I helped a family take out their cow's poop from the barn and stuff like that. They weren't gonna let me do it too up until I said if he didn't give me the shovel I would just use my hands, lol. He was a cool guy, we're gonna go back and hopefully teach him and his family about the gospel later. I'm really hoping it goes well because they seem like a really lit family! This night we also went back over to Battambang because Zone Conference is Friday.

Friday was good as expected. Zone Conference was hype and got us all ready for a super lit transfer of grinding out the work. After Zone Conference I went with one of the AP's in their truck and came back to Thma Koul to do a 1 day exchange with him. Super lit because we just went to do our far areas which was so nice to do with a truck. A 40 minute bike ride turned into a 10 minute or less truck drive. And I wasn't like a dog when I got to the lesson either. Anyway, it was super nice to be with another person that can speak Khmer because I've been with a kon for the last 6 months or more. So, it's nice to teach with someone who knows Khmer haha it was very refreshing.

Saturday we just continued our exchange and then switched back and me and my original comp (Elder Gubler) went and bought a bunch of food for the activity we had on Sunday.

Sunday, so we had church and there was a little more people there but still recovering from the war and us being out of our area for a week. Anyway, we had two more baptisms which was super amazing as well and then that night we had a campfire activity where we roasted marshmallows in a rice field and ate some super yummy pork stew.(one of my favorite Khmer dishes) Anyway super fun and everything. The stars were very nice as well.

This area is so different from my old one in so many ways but also the Khmer people are really pretty much the same haha. I feel like this transfer might be a refiner's fire of sorts for me but that's okay cause that means I'll be stronger afterwards. Hopefully. . . . .if I can endure, haha.

I hope all of you know how much love the Savior has for you by the way. I've been so blessed to feel the love He has for these Cambodian people and I know He loves perfectly and equally. So, I know how much He loves you guys and it's so much! I guess our goal now is just to show God how much love we have for Him in return! So don't forget that your every action reflects what type of love you have for your Savior Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father!

Love all of you so much and please have a great day! and week!!
