Steadfast and Immovable

Heyyyoooo this week don't got a lot other than great news!!!!  I love my mission haha! It's amazing and I was so happy these last two weeks because we finally have time to work in our area without distractions, other than my bike being super silly and having a bunch of problems. So that's annoying but other than that it was great, oh and me cutting a coconut successfully but unsuccessful in the drinking part. You'll have to watch the video to know why. Satan is really trying to make me negative and quick to frustrating and it is a challenge but. . . I've got Christ on my side and I'm doing my best to turn every negative situation into at least a teaching moment, so I can learn. Also been having lots of opportunities to sacrifice what I want to do and in return do what the Lord wants me to do. Not much for this week cause I ran out time🙃but know that God loves you and always will listen to you when you pray. Elder Acton Oh. . . one more thing. We had Stake Conf...

Hello everyone, this week has been literally such a crazy roller coaster. It has low key been happy and sad because I've been taken out of my area every single day this week but one of those days was for the temple OUR temple, so that was lit!! Okay so Tuesday We woke up right on time and got ready super quick for some service!!! Which is always so fun! Then at 9:15 we left, raced home and got in the shower at like 9:22 and then got all ready and made it to the church for district council at 9:30 but we were late 5 minutes so 9:35 but still we were pretty proud we biked a total of 5 kilometers, showered, and got ready in our shirt and tie in 20 minutes, haha. Anyway, after that we did our weekly planning and met some cool people and then went to Ming Sopheas younger sister's house, which is lit cause she wants to learn now. and after that we went and visited another lady and her son which was also lit. We did this with one of the young single adult men here too!! He hopped on ...

Living the Missionary Life: stitches, rats, and miracles!

Monday night, my comp took a spill on his bike. He was turning a corner and there was some wet sand and rocks on the road and it didn't work out very well. We were trying to get home quickly and he was riding so fast that he didn't have time to put his hands out and save himself. His face went straight into the ground. So, we had to go to the hospital that night. Right after it happened, I sat "criss cross applesauce" and took care of him like Florence Nightengale and then we went to the hospital. We were there until 12:30, we got home at 1:00 and then we had to make dinner because we hadn't had any dinner yet. So, we ate dinner at 1:30-anyways it was a super crazy day. Then later that week one of our friends, Srey Neang (the young girl with special needs) got lost. She was lost from the 1st of October all the way to the 4th of October. On the 1st of October we searched for 2 1/2 hours at night for her, so that was pretty crazy. It was really big miracle that she...
