So this week I wrote a lot less and it's because I'm kinda getting nervous for Cambodia (since I'll be leaving and talking to real Cambodians in just over two weeks) ahhhh anyway so I've been really trying to focus on the language of the spirit and Khmer. (SO instead of journaling and writing what happened this week I spent the majority of that time studying). My. Brain. Hurts. Pretty much all the time especially when I try not to speak English. Longest I've made it is four hours but I try more and more each day! Sunday 8-18 We had such a cool thunder storm during our district review! Look at the lightening in the back! We talked about how as we put everything to the Lord, He will magnify our efforts. Monday 8-19 We went and got glasses for Elder Chong and we got to eat Chipotle which was our first meal outside of the MTC but anyway these days keep flying by and I don't know where they're going Tuesday 8-20 Today was devo day and I got packages from my mom!!...

 Saturday 8-10 Today was actually really good, which is not what I was expecting because we didn't go to the temple today. So originally I thought it was going to be less spiritual but man was I wrong. We had our language class for three hours. At one of the sections we went to a different floor to look at a massive picture of Alma the younger praying in the woods, seeking knowledge from God. We all shared different scriptures about the power of prayer and it was a super cool experience. But it gets even better! Elder Michaud has been pretty homesick since we got here and he's been praying nightly for comfort but hasn't got anything yet. He was feeling alone and kind of abandoned, but as we were walking back from class he noticed a picture hung on the wall of two sister missionaries teaching a girl in the street.  Saturday 8-03 Today was just another fun p-day! I started it off with a beautiful morning of temple sealings (my first time!) which was so beautiful and I loved it so much. I then ate and called my parents which was also very nice. And then did laundry, then played some pickle ball and volleyball which it started pouring outside so that was so fun! But yeah, p-days are pretty uneventful for the most part. DEVO Sunday 8-04 Wow wow wow, this Sunday was amazing again, crazy huh who would think Sundays would be my absolute favorite. This week's focus was specifically The Book of Mormon and wow wow so good! Nothing in this entire world could convince me its not the true word of God! I've had the opportunity to grow my testimony with this book more than I have ever in my life! It's just crazy to think that we have the most correct book of any book on the earth in our pockets at all times. DON'T TAKE THAT FOR GRANTED. Okay, so I've seen other missionaries type their weekly updates day by day and sending them on p-days. So, that's what imma try so that ya'll can know a little bit more about my week (since my p-days are so packed and I have almost no time to send one out.) Saturday 7-27 Okie dokie so this day was so nice as always. We started full immersion for Khmer Friday and by Friday night I was so exhausted from trying to understand things so a p-day was well in order. We studied and did laundry and I called my family and told them funny stories and then went and played tons of pickle ball and volleyball. Speaking of that, I can't remember if I told you about my companion, Elder Chong. We all joke he's one of the three Nephites because he baffles us with his intelligent skills.
